working conditions
July 8th, 2009the magazine journalisten, published by the danish journalism union, recently ran a story claiming that the massive media presence at roskilde festival was merely an excuse for partying with fellow media people. i’m not in a position to say what other people were doing, but i do know, that we were working pretty damn hard.
here’s a few ‘behind the scene’ shots of the condition we were working under. i wasn’t able to see above any of the stages, so i had to stand on my toes or find something to stand on… i really should write a letter to the festival and ask, why the pit has to be so low…?

oh, you crybaby…. “small people” – hrmpf ;o) get some booster-shoes and eat more oatmeal, that should do it, hehe…. nah, that pit is to f*ck*ng hilarious, and when it rains, like it did at Jay-Z’s show sunday night last year, the edge of the canopy just lets down tons of water — down my neck and back :-(
