john and i met when john was studying at the danish school of journalism in århus. guess it’s a year ago or so now. at that time i was living with sara and valdemar in a rather big apartment and john stopped by frequently to discuss photography and drink free coffee.
when ungdomshuset was evicted john took off to copenhagen immediately and the rest of us joined him later in the day. together we spent a handful of days roaming the stress of copenhagen, chasing fires and drink beer when we were all beat.

beside being a talented photographer, john is a lousy cook and generally quite the redneck. something im pretty sure he’s proud of.

hopefully i’ll get a chance to meet up with john when i head to the states in october to take part in the eddie adams workshop.
